We started our partnership with the clear goal of creating a website that would fit with CRE Daily’s mission and expertise as well as what their audience needed. This meant a total redesign and rebranding and we joined forces to accomplish just that.

Strategic Rebranding for Better Market Positioning

In revamping the branding and design, we were inspired by the need to better reflect CRE Daily’s position as an industry leader. We developed a new brand identity that resonates with their vision and values as an outstanding voice in commercial real estate news.

Creating a Website for a Better Reading Experience

Our number-one guiding principle in designing the new CRE Daily website was the user’s reading experience. The intuitive interface and lean design are the result of this focus. The reader can easily explore different content types, including articles and podcasts.

Sponsored Articles and Full Control Over Ads

Enabling CRE Daily’s unique revenue generation model was another part of the design strategy. They worked with partners who would sponsor some articles and needed a way to manage, schedule, and display them. We created custom sections on article pages that display the sponsors and their messages on the articles they sponsored. These special boxes can be placed on the sidebar, main page, and the archive page.

Each sponsor is promoted on different articles, with its message displayed to a fixed percentage of viewers, for example, one in every two visitors. The admins can also set deadlines for each sponsor, promoting them until a fixed date and putting their message out of rotation afterward. That lets CRE Daily monetize its content on its own terms and without compromising the user’s reading experience.

Our developers and designers have been hard at work, boosting CRE Daily’s website and branding. Now that their website has been successfully launched, we look forward to a new chapter in our relationship.
